CAI merges its specialized foam cup printing skills with an innovative equipment technology that permits stable high-speed manufacturing at 300 cups per minute, while at the same time securing fragile foam cup surfaces. Its advanced drying techniques and accurate ink control systems produce repeatable print quality and economical ink utilization, and its easy mold change allows rapid switching between different cup sizes. In addition to printing foam cups, CAI presses can print also on plastic and paper cups, as well as on other round containers such as bowls and buckets, thus giving the manufacturers one machine that is flexible to different applications.

A U.S. customer selected CAI’s S-Series cup printing machine for high-volume printing on both foam and paper cups, covering a wide range of sizes from 12 oz, 16 oz, and 32 oz to 44 oz. In continuous operation, the machine achieves an average production speed of 250 cups per minute, delivering consistent printing quality and reliable performance across different cup sizes and materials.

The machine operates steadily at 200–250 cups per minute in the customer’s factory, delivering consistent printing performance throughout continuous production. The customer also recognized CAI’s optimized printing and curing performance for foam cups, with effective control of common issues such as ink removal and surface scratches, helping achieve stable and reliable production.
CAI foam cup printing machines can print foam cups ranging from 8 oz to 44 oz. Our current maximum application is a 44 oz foam cup, commonly used for popcorn and other large-volume food applications. For larger cups such as 44 oz, the machine can achieve a stable production speed of approximately 200 cups per minute, depending on the cup specifications and printing requirements.
